Ordering medicines online — answered
Can I order medicines online in Karachi from MediLane?
Yes. Add items to your cart and choose delivery anywhere we serve in Karachi, or pickup from our Clifton or Gulshan-e-Iqbal branch. You can pay cash on delivery or by bank transfer.
Do I need a prescription to buy online?
Only for prescription-only medicines, which are marked with an Rx badge. Over-the-counter items such as paracetamol, ORS, vitamins and first aid can be ordered without one. For Rx items you upload a photo of a valid prescription and a pharmacist checks it before packing.
How do I search for a medicine by its salt or generic name?
Type the salt into the search box, for example "omeprazole" or "cetirizine". Results include every brand that contains that salt, so you can compare makers and prices.
Are your medicines genuine?
Yes. We buy only from licensed manufacturers and authorised distributors and keep purchase records. If anything about a pack looks wrong to you, tell us and a pharmacist will check it.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery fees depend on your area and are calculated live at checkout before you place the order. If a free-delivery threshold applies, the cart shows how much more you need.
Can I collect my order instead?
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and pick the branch. Most orders are ready within about an hour during opening hours; we message you when it is ready.
What are your opening hours?
Both branches open every day. The live hours for each branch, including today's status, are shown on the Stores page and in the footer.
Can a pharmacist advise me before I buy?
Yes. Use Ask a pharmacist, call the branch or message us. We can explain how a medicine is usually taken, check for common interactions and suggest when to see a doctor. We do not diagnose or replace your doctor.
Is my personal and prescription information private?
Yes. Prescription uploads are stored privately and are only seen by our pharmacists for dispensing. We do not sell or share your data; see our privacy policy for details.
